Just got these off E-bay. 20 quid the pair. Fully plod compliant. They look the business.

I took a flash pic of them beside the old plates... definitely properly reflective and size and lettering is fine too.

That's what concerned me. Shouldn't there be a number or something as well?

I've had plates like this and never had a problem. Friends have had sImilar and have had.

I initially thought that but if you look closely you can see embossed writing at the centre and bottom right.

Hope you don't mind me barging in, I'm not a TVR owner. But... I had plates the same as for a number of years. Whether they a technically legal or not, I couldn't say, but I never had any trouble passing an MOT, the lack of makers address never caused an issue. As they are the normal font and reflective i was never pulled either.

I apologise, I can make it out on second glance. As it happens my rear plate doesn't have any markings as it seems impossible to find a company who will supply a honeycomb rear plate.
