Hi Martin,

I've not seen any pictures or anything as yet & I keep thinking about the colour choice and if I chose the right one, but then I look back at the video I took & think yes! It is pretty loud in certain lights but varies quite a lot - it appears royal blue in darker areas. Also I got a call today asking for me to order another 5 litres! So when thinned out it works out about 16 litres of paint?! eek

What were you doing up there, with the Sag? I'm told they are trying to get it finished by the end of this week, so not only should I make Burghley, but Malton as well. Possibly even the cobweb run!

Cheers

I was at Chris' the other day; he is a top man, top sprayer and a fellow TVR owner to boot. Your car could not be in better hands.

Wow that is looking good, you do realise now that you won't want to drive it anymore as its looking so good.... Don't want to tempt you but darker wheels might look awesome?

New race proved slave in and now even reverse is easy to select, so look forward to seeing it at burghley smile

I asked about shadow chrome & anthracite wheels on the FB TVR selling page as I wanted to go a little darker, but the general opinion was to keep them bright! I'm going to see how I feel about it when i get it back, but my wheels are desperate for a refurb anyway so if anyone has any at a reasonable price I may be persuaded...ears

Can't seem to post the picture but Google "dark blue tuscan graphite wheels" and look for a blue 3 series bmw with satin anthracite wheels, would look good on yours smile

Just seen it, that does look well! Not many people want to part with them though by all accounts & I can't afford a new set. Although now that you wrote that last post my car came up in the pictures! laugh

Seriously, we had our wheels refurbed locally, all straightened out perfectly and repainted and they look amazing. But while i was walking out they had a set of Audi wheels in a satin graphite finish, which got me thinking.... Anyways it's going to look amazing whatever, wheels can be sorted any time smile

What colour was it originally? Reflex spice?

No originally it was Toyota plumb purple, but someone painted it in this rubbish at some stage, presumably with a roller judging from the state of it! I think it was meant to be a form of Reflex purple...

But God knows where the paint came from, it's crap I know that much!

My personal favourite colour is Rolex blue, think this may have trumped that.

Thanks very much! Although looking at it in person I discussed with Steve (SD Autotec) and we came to the conclusion the wheels are better staying lighter. Can't afford a refurb just yet though so there's plenty of time to ponder on it!
