Boot wire spaghetti

Trying to work out why the boot light does not work. I am assuming the Blue microswitch that connects to the lock mechanism is the trigger. Tracing the wires I find the connector end is not connected.

Problem is I can't seem to find a connector for it to connect to? I seem to have 2 Black connectors available;1 connects to the solenoid and 1 seems to power the solenoid - if I disconnect this then no power to the solenoid.

Wires ex the switch are brown/white with brown tracer and go to (female) connector with blue and black wires.
