Hi All
How much louder are the powertech cans compared to the standard exhaust, I'm after a bit more noise but not overloud when on a long journey.

Thanks Colin

Purely subjective but I didn't think they were too much louder, they just sounded "better", more pops and bangs etc. My standard cans droned a bit in the midrange, the powertech cans sorted that out.

I'm sure someone has made a comparison with a DB meter and will be along to give you a scientific answer shortly!

This is my Tuscan with Powertech cans.
The Powertech cans are a bigger inner diameter so giving a deeper rumble.
She is a bit loud but that's mainly due to decatting and in the video she had a coil pack problem.

I changed to them from standard cans, and think they are fine, don't forget to take the standard cans with you for the MOT.

Are exhaust cans an MOT issue provided there's no holes / damage, mine are modified but have never had any issues at MOT time.

Always been told to bring the standard can with me for the MOT due to the extra noise they kick up.
