Hello again
Just bought a new andeson connector, the old one fell apart
Was wondering was it easy to change and will I be able to change in without a ramp?
Cheers

Dont need a ramp. Just a Jack. Wheel off, battery out gives good access.

I've scraped and sanded my battery carrier and then high zinc primer and truck chassis painted it.
The bracket for the Anderson connector is attached to the angles for the battery support plate.

I decided that it is in quite an exposed position, so disconnected and removed it with a view to re-locating it under the bonnet (done the hinged bonnet conversion)...That's if I can suss out how to extend the cables!

The +ve goes direct to the battery, the -ve goes to a bolt/stud with 17mm nut protruding through the bulkhead at the back of the battery 'box' area.

I have just bought a new Anderson connector with rubber lower cover and a newly designed rubber upper 'V' seal to keep water and dirt from filling the lower cover and possibly shorting it out. Will fit it and take a picture to post. smile
