Tuscan Key Blanks

Hi all, Dave at HF Solutions has sorted me out with 2 new key fobs and re-programmed my alarm box, but I would like a new key (he supplied me with fobs), was just wondering if anyone had found any nice/slightly fancy key blanks out there which can be cut, I have seen TVR Parts sell blanks but they look like they came out of a cracker, it's a flat blade not the round Ford one, perhaps if I knew what manufacturer they are originally from I could search a bit better?

I just had one cut at the local Timsons at Tesco !!!

Much better quality than the stuff that used to be about a few years ago.

Not original i give you that, but as a spare, it does the job just fine, and only cost a tenner.

I bought mine from Abacus, came complete with blank key, exactly same as original bar the TVR logo. Not sure if they'll just supply the key part if you've already bought the electronics somewhere else.

I never even thought that key cutters may have car key blanks.... Thanks!

I converted mine to the later Meta key fob, much nicer.

I've now got 2 meta fobs, but without the key inserts, I'll speak to Dave and see if he can send me the blank key inserts. I have flat Vauxhall (?) style keys rather than round Ford ones.

Hi Topcat1,
There is no round Tibbe key insert kit, only the vauxhall blade type is available, to make the conversion you have to make it yourself, it takes an hour per key.
