Hi All

I have Jade R wheels with Avon ZZ3 Tyres and was wondering what tyre pressures you would run with.

Just a word of warning.
Avon ZZ3's are at least 3 years old now...have been superseded by ZZ5.

Before worrying too much on pressures (and I'd go for the factory setting), I'd just take a look at how old your tyres are.

Not nagging, hopefully being helpful.

Thanks Nick, will bear that in mind.

But doesn't it depend on the mileage?

Obviously tyres wear with mileage but they also degrade over time. The latter is caused by UV damage from sunlight and rain also causes damage over time - so they age faster if the car is left outside. The damage created is usually seen as cracking - typically at the base of the treads but also elsewhere. Any car that lives out in all weathers needs the tyres checking after four years. The maximum 'industry' recommended life span is ten years from manufacture - and no stock older than six years from manufacture should be put on a car. (Tyres have date codes on them so you can determine when they were made).

Thanks

Car has always been garaged, but will give them a look over.

My personal opinion is max. 5 years, maybe that's just me! I would start with 24psi all round?
