I'm not that fussed about Brooklands to be honest. If you're going to get up early on a Sunday best to make use of the quieter roads and do the driving first, then stop for food and watering at the end of the route. I'll go with the majority vote though!

Can't say too early a start appeals either, I also have to pick up the F-I-L beforehand.

No pressure, I'll be going to this for sure as it's a really nice event and get to see some awesome stuff, but we can all meet afterwards.

No stress smile

I'm already planning on an early start at the Brooklands breakfast with a mate too, but would like to join everyone for the TOSH after. What time were you thinking of meeting up at Wotton Hatch?

Nope, this one...

http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/events/...

Been to the last two & enjoyed both, breakfast also considerably better than the fare on offer at the Goodwood events IMHO, although accept that the drive there isn't nearly as pleasurable.

Did notice that everyone else on this thread was a Tuscan owner though (... which I guess is why it's in the Tuscan area!). I hope you don't mind a poorer relation joining in? (& hope I'd be able to keep up!...)

Str8six have just informed me I will be rebuilt by the start of next week.

Not sure if I'll be headed to Scotland on the 15th, but if it gets postponed I'll certainly get a portion of running in done with you all!

Us Chimps will keep up the rear guard hey Chris, I will meet you guys at brooklands as I am a Brooklands Virgin so be gentle on me as I have only just moved to the big smoke from Lincolnshire, I have to say there's tooo many cars around here compared to the tumble weed roads of Lincs frown

Morning all,

OK, so we are now close to this weekend and the weather looks like it will be dry!

Looks like most of you don't do early Sunday starts or breakfast.... wink

How about we meet at brooklands and go from there and do a second pick up at the Guildford cathedral at say 11:00?

Non tuscans are of course invited!

Add below so we know:

You must be tellypafic, I was just about to suggest exactly the same thing. There was a suggestion of Hindhead Tunnel last year so we could blat down the A3 then cut back cross country Haslemere/Ewhurst/Ockley to the A24. Last time that pub in Newdigate was stuffed with old Triumph codgers, not sure if they meet the same Sunday each month but there's other places like Leigh or Brockham.

Yep I'll join at Guildford. Is the cathedral a good place to meet on a Sunday morning?

Sounds good guys. I was planning to do a tunnel run then off over towards Sussex. I have a route smile

I will arrive at brooklands for 8:45.

Leave brooklands at about 10:20 ish.

The cathedral has a huge drive which car groups often use but I'm happy to meet anywhere if you think it might be too busy...everywhere always is!

I'm sure the Sunday worshippers won't mind a few Tuscans turning up. See you tomorrow.

Sorry guys I think I'm gonna have to bail. Just taken the car out for a proper spin and its grounding out on all but the gentlest of bumps. I need to jack it up and raise the ride height but my jack is with a friend.

Hopefully the weather will hold out for you as its so nice outside at the mo!!
