Another what's this wire thread

Whilst I was taking things apart to remove the steering rack I thought I'd hunt for the external air temp sensor again which I failed at again. Anyway whilst digging about in the offside access panel I came across this connector not going anywhere. Is it for aircon as mine doesn't have it or should it be connected to something? Possibly the air temp sensor?

Bit hard to get my head around it?

You might be right....the a/c trinary valve is located in O/S light void.
Can't remember the wire colours off the top of my head.
