You mean the Mk1 indicators in the top corners of the rear window? If so, they're held in the housing by two screws which are on the face of the indicator. Or maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're asking because I'm almost stating the obvious biggrin

Unless I am completely missing it, there are no screws I can see that fix the led board to the housing

That's a different design to mine. On most the end hole each side is for a self-tapper, yours seems to have LED filaments in that location. Just put the cover on it otherwise I'd post a photo. I can only assume yours must have to have some hidden clipping.

I'd say that your chrome surround can be removed and the screws will be underneath. Or maybe the surround means the holes can't be used? If you look at the pictures above, the LEDs match the same layout as yours.

Mine did not have any screws fixing it into the housing. It became a nuisance when they started to fall out, I tried silicone but it was not very successful. I eventually managed to obtain a pair with the screw fitting from a very nice fellow Tuscan owner to resolve the issue. I had never seen another without the screw fitting, the guys at Surface & design said they did not know of any that did not have the screw fitting??. You will need to get the mounting pod as well as the indicators. Good luck, maybe the scrappies will have a pair for reasonable money.

Thought it might have been some bright spark at TVR considering them "maintenance-free" and bonding them in with something lying around the factory.

Wheeler probably had a small batch made in India that came back without holes wink

You may get away with your current pods if you can source a couple of replacement lights. The area the self tappers go into is very thin walled and on mine it had broken through. I simply whittled a curved piece of wood and araldited it in. Screw now holds, you should be able to do the same.

Please post if you figure this out - I'm planning to mod my indicators and I think mine is the same as yours with no visible screws.

I have a jan 2000 car and mine are the same. No screws. I added Velcro to the inside edge to tighten the fit. Far from idea, but that's tvr for you;)
