Door not opening from in side

Hi there guys and girls. I am very new to Tvrs (like one day so fare). I have a Tuscan s that has been dry stored for the last 7 yrs. I now have it and trying to get her back on the road. There was no battery on her so connected one up straight away. Most things started working but I can't open the doors from the inside. I am wondering if I am doing some thing wrong orcas any one had this problem. Any help in this project would be amazing thanks Dan

How are you trying to open the doors? Button press, knob twist, handle pull? There are are different ways depending on year.

Thanks for replying to me. I have worked it out now. It's the button buy the radio.

Ok so a Mk1 Tuscan. Those door release buttons will at some point randomly decide not to work so you need to know how to manually open the doors from inside. There is an emergency pull handle under the dash on each side in the approximate location you'd find a bonnet release on a normal car. Just make sure you manually wind the window down a few inches first before pulling the manual door release.
