Looking to get my Tuscan S1 installed with Air-Con.
Yes, yes I know about natures air-con, but I do 2-4 hours driving a day from Surrey t London and ever summer I slowly roast and lose a stone in weight from dehydration.

Am not even sure if the car has air-con installed at the mo and might just need gassing. How do I check and confirm it has or not ?
Any help on where to source the parts from would be greatly appreciated.

...Car with air-con will have obvious compressor located above power steering pump - belt driven from crank.

A/C condenser (radiator) is in front of engine coolant rad'. Should be able to see through the pepper pot grill.

Therefore, in addition to these components you'll need the pipework, the cabin matrix under the cold (outboard) plenum plus trinary switch, the drier...and I guess a different heater ecu.

Think it'll be quite an expensive operation, that's if you can get all the components.

If it is a Tuscan S air con was standard, so possible just needs a re-gas.

Cool.
I go take a look at the front rad for that cooler you've mentioned.
Assuming I need to do complete new install, any recommendations where this could be done?

THanks

Or trinary switch

Or a new compressor clutch

Or a heater ECU without burnt out contacts

My M1 has air con - I think it was an extra 2-3k when you purchased the car. Look at the right hand side in foil bud.
