out of curiosity highest rpm with bucket followers I have seen is 16500rpm in the Honda MotoGp engine, and that was also on wire springs! We didn't think it could be done and assumed they were using pneumatics.

Piston speed and mass is high on the s6, at least compared to bike and F1 pistons
