Hello all,

At the 50th event we noticed a few Tuscans with high level break lights between the rear indicators (not fitted on ours). Does anyone know if these we standard fit? Are they available as spares (I cant find them anywhere) or did they come out of a parts bin?

Thanks, Jayne smile

What year is your car? My early 2001 didn't have one but my current late 2002 does.

It was a later Mk1 factory fit. I have it on my 2004, was led to believe by the supplying dealer it was only on the very latest Mk1's 03/04 but stand to be corrected. Earlier cars may have aftermarket additions.

It's an early mk1, so before it was compulsory. Anyone know where I could get one?

Pretty sure those LED lights were bespoke for TVR. Your next issue is if you look closely at this pic the light is recessed into the trim. Is that aperture there on cars without them? If not you'll need the roll bar trimmed to accommodate.

Incidentally that's a December 2001 car.

Yup that looks the same as mine so must have been a bit of stretched sales patter when I bought it.

I thought they were standard, the press criticised the fact that

The switches on the tunnel let the doors open and were changed to the radio pod
The roof flew off and the catch was fitted
Brake light fitted as the brake lights were too low.
