Chassis Treatment
Discussion
Apologies if this thread has been done
Have surface rust on the chassis. As part of the winter project looking to get this remedied
Question is, is this job best left to the someone who does this day in day out, or is it something one can do well themselves
Does anyone have any recommendations on garages that aren't going to completely kill the account?
If its a DIY job, am I wrong in thinking access is going to be an issue as you only see one side of the chassis with the other side being obstructed?

Sounds like the right approach.
Did you do that yourself or have it done? Roughly what was the cost involved?
I was going to do mine but when I had the car inspected by Colin at TVRSSW he said it was fine. However I did find a local company that would unbolt the body and raise up by 20/30mm (shield the body work), shot blast and zinc spray paint it for me. It was not that much either, but that was just for the outriggers and plate work. But then if I'm right that the area of concern?
