As above, I have the powers (noisy) end cans with the carbon surround and thinking of changing them.
Looked at the Act chrome ones but not quite what I want are there others available.
Noisy ones, if you have pictures even better.

The pic I posted pop and bang like mad, but you loose the rasp and gain a deep V8 rumble. This is due to a larger bore but no silencing, I assume that if I narrowed the diameter and kept it un silenced then you will get more rasp.

I've got carbon can company ones on mine. Don't think you can get them anymore but there are other chrome cans available. I love a bit of being shine!

Hi and thanks.
Curdster what is the make of yours? Does it have an end can? The reason I ask is for MOT time did you have any issues? I assume it has better clearance for speed bumps?
matt man are yours straight through?

Curdster's cans look great. I sent several emails to the company who made them, to see if they could make me some and maybe do a group buy. They haven't replied. They do look good!
I have the blueflame cans.

I had those(straight through ones) on mine for a long time, but they are very heavy. I recently changed to the Powertech (ex CCC employee) carbon fibre look straight through which are super light. They are the same loudness but the raspy blowing noise is accentuated at idle and low rpm I assume due to the light weight of them whereas the heavier stainless cans must have dampened it.

I agree I have the factory cans and they are light, but the CCC cans are even lighter, and sound great, it would be nice to find out where Curdsters cans came from, S6 Devil did you try to contact them recently?

Yes, a few weeks ago by email, but no reply. I haven't got round to phoning them yet. This is the thread with contact details.

They are very light and sound good, but possibly something like this looks better?

Indeed they are straight through....is there any other way??? biggrin

A friend recently picked up a Tuscan with standard cans and on tickover it was very similar noise but under load and driving/lift off it was so quiet! He has bought a set of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/252105944932?adgrou... and they are nice and loud biggrin

Interesting comment above about the weight of the cans on mine, they do feel very solid and heavy. The ones above on the link are so light!

I would love some oval ends. Any idea where they can be sourced from?

Those are the ones from Racing Green.I enquired about them some years ago. They would only sell them with an intermediate exhaust section. No longer available though!

Cheers for the info. I might have to look into getting something similar made up as I like the size and shape better than anything else I´ve seen.
