Gents,
I am trying to solve an old problem while I get a full interior refurb done.
The connector for the 3 adjusters for the dash does not seems to match any of the available connectors of the back of the dash PCB.
Anyone able to help on what I can do?
Thanks
Yours
8nil

I can't offer any advice, but if it's any consolation mine don't work either, come to think of it I've sat and tried another one too and they didn't work . . . Maybe they were never connected from factory?

Not tried the adjusters on mine, but just got my pod back from repair and whilst setting up the clock and shift light, noted amongst the other settings options for sound and brightness (can't recall contrast in there), maybe the adjusters aren't used on the Mk2?

Thanks lads.
You are probably right, but I am trying to call Paul Smith at PS Electronic Solutions to find out whats what.
A definitive answer from him would be good, if I can get a hold of him.

Drop him an email, details on his website. It was Paul who fixed my pod, difficult to get on the phone but he responded to my initial enquiry email by the following morning thumbup

Not necessarily much help but mine definitely work! Dial marked C does the contrast and B the brightness. V doesn't seem to do anything.

The options under the menu using the steering wheel buttons also work.

I can take some pics of the dash rear next week if it helps?

Well thanks for that MrChips! Now that we know they work, that will go on the list of jobs to do!

8nil, let us know how this is resolved for future reference.thumbup

I haven't forgotten about this, I found a load of old photos of the back of the dash panel, but none showing the cabling which comes from the contrast adjuster to the pod.

Oddly i think this thread has jinxed me as my lcd went blank last week, although worked fine one the ignition was turned off and on. I think I might buy one of the upgraded ones from Lee although i need to read through his installation blurb to see if it looks possible.

Will post some pics but it'll be a little while unfortunately!

Thanks so much Mr C.
Sorry I didn't reply sooner. Not really posting on here anymore, as I have moved over to another forum site.
However I will keep a look in on this, and you can PM me also.
Many thanks for keeping this in your mind. It is appreciated.

No worries. Car is now safely tucked up in the garage so I should have a chance to take a look pretty soon. smile
