Does look good. Very professional install. Having said that, is that a bit of 2by4 supporting your engine?

Good spot, laugh

yes it is, it's there to get the engine at the right height for final positioning.

A lot more power? Is that only on a dyno run or would the extra power be visible on track or road when being put down with no traction control and are the extra horses well harnessed?
Yes, a lot more power over what an S6 can realistically do. The practicalities and usability of such is a different question though. Maybe you should ask the Tuscan Racer guys the same question, see what they say about what's faster. wink
I think you can use the extra power, i'm knocking on 600bhp other than Nitrons and a stiffer pre load on the LSD the chassis is "as is", however i think more power than this might not actually be any faster, just bigger black lines!
Over this level of power a good traction control system might be useful, for a nobber like me behind the wheel anyway! hehe

Hmmm now the Power 4.5S6 rebuild looks great at £10k out the door lol
And the car will still be a TVR, i would love to see how much a dealer would offer for a NON tvr engine car, ?????????????????????????????????

Trouble with worrying about residuals is it ruins the ownership experience, I made that mistake with my Griff - it was immaculate and every time I drove it I felt I was devaluing it. Unless you buy a low mileage A1 car and leave it in a heated garage you're going to reduce its residual value.

Buy your TVR and do whatever you want that makes it fun. That was always their raisin d'être.

Exactly, why worry about the value if like me the car will be a keeper and I will enjoy every minute of ownership. Let's not put these cars in the same pidgeon hole as the housing market where people think more of what there house is worth and not think of it as there home.
