My car whole electric just cut off after 15 minutes drive. With a hint of smell of something heating up within the cabin.
Wiggle the fuse Board underneath the steering wheel after a moment, the Car come back live again. But it happens again after 15 minutes or so later. Car starts up again after cooling down. I noticed that the fuel pump relay gets quite warm. I unplug the relay, the car come back live again. Any clues please?
I am hoping it is just the relay causing issues. Can anyone please advise if I am looking at the right place? Or experience similar issues?

Thank you for your responses. The difficulty is I am stuck in Beligum right now. Thinking of replacing the relay and see it will resolve the issue.
Anyone got any experience on recovery back to UK. I have RAC cover. Are they quite straight forward just put the car in flat bed? How long does it take for them to get the c ar back to the UK? Do I need to be w it's the car. I am travelling with my friends cars so transportation is not an issue for me.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Have you tried swapping the fuel pump relay for one of the others, assuming one of the others is identical ?
I've been recovered from France and Germany in the past.
I'm with the ADAC so it will be a bit different but basically they moved the car and myself to a secure location, sorted me a rental car and delivered the car back to the UK about two weeks later.
I don't know how the rental works with the RAC but with ADAC there was another rental waiting in Dover when I got off the ferry.

I've used RAC for recovery from Le Mans - dizzy failure on the V8S.
RAC, arranged 1 nights accommodation for me and my mate. The following day they sub-contracted a recovery (French) company to take us to Le Havre. On arrival at Portsmouth, the RAC head a driver/recovery en-route to deliver us all home.
It worked well - once the RAC overcame the inertia to arrange the 2-stage recovery and the hotel - this took nearly all day on the Monday. Also, had they bothered to locate a Land-Rover dealer local to L.Mans, I could have got back home under my own steam....it was just failure of the HT.
However, I too am now with ADAC. I've got cover (and it's the person - not the car) for self and wife for about Eu.80 and it's Europe wide. ADAC is run more as a mutual company for the benefit of its members, rather than as a profit making insurance company, which is what the AA and RAC are now.

I just googled ADAC and the webpage I found only gives cover for German residents. Have you got a link for UK membership as Eu80 is far cheaper than what I'm paying for breakdown/recovery bundled with my insurance.RAC, arranged 1 nights accommodation for me and my mate. IIRC, I too googled ADAC - - maybe had to drill down on website to get a general enquiry number (might have had to use Google Translate). I called that (German) number and once connected, the operator/receptionist forwarded me to an English speaking lady (who sounded lovely) - I gave details - address, credit card, and received the paperwork about a week later.
This was largely due to "so called's" experience.
Could do a search on here or General TVR forum - because I posted at the time. There was some discussion re eligibility of UK residents on the thread, but I believe there has to be the same service under Eu rules?

I hope you have the same experience as me.Nick
I've been with them 8 years now and absolutely nothing to complain about.
I note that on other threads, some folks have been uncomplimentary saying that response to their enquiries has been unhelpful or rude. I have found the complete opposite.
