Took the Tuscan out tonight and a very odd problem seems to have developed.

On the detailed display the oil pressure, water temperature and fuel figures are varying massively - 30-50psi, 70-115C, 30-45L at a steady speed and rpm with no obvious reason. The other displays of speed, rpm etc. all seem normal so doubt it is a dash pod earthing issue. Anyone heard of this before?

Discovered today that this only happens with the blower on! confused

Others reported this a while ago too, but no resolution noted:

I'm getting some odd 'events' with my dash display too.

Rev limit lights flashing randomly, crystal display reverting to 'awaiting data' occasionally and fuel gauge not seeming to register although the digital readout is showing a figure.

Spoke to Jason, and via Paul Smith, believes its a communications problem on the dash 'stack'.

Not sure if this will help in your situation, but I had exactly the same symptoms as both the above when the wrong alternator was installed. Correct one supplied and all back to normal.

I'm pleased to say I just fixed my issue. smile

Don't know how long it'd been like this, but the earth connector bolt near the top of the righthand side in the passenger footwell was about 1/2" out!! Yes really. I'm surprised anything worked!
