Long 5th ratio, or 6 speed option for the T5 tuscan box

Rather than spending loads of £ on trying to make the engine work harder I was tempted to drop the final drive ratio, but I remember 5th gear could do with being abit taller for motorway use (its been a while since i drove it, as I write these words im second guessing my memory as 5th should pull 180....)

are there any places that sell alternative 5th gear ratios? I think a 6th gear option doesnt exist for the T5?

I use www.thegearbox.org for all Tremec parts supply, they are in the US and pretty professional. I think, if I remember correctly, that taller 5th gear for the 27 spline output shafts are no longer available. You may try ebay in the US, a while ago I have seen a set. There is a choice between 0.63 or 0.72 against the 0.80 standard TVR 5th gear ratio.
