I was wondering if anyone knows where the steering column was sourced from as although indicators work ok I have to flick the stalk every time to get them to cancel IE they will not self cancel, it has been checked out and it is the cancel lug (not sure if that is the correct name) on the steering column that is broken. I have been told the part is not available, by Dreadnought.

If it's a wavy dash Tuscan the indicator switch and steering column are Ford items, so would have thought that the part that cancels the indicators is also from Ford.

Mine also doesn't work however after about 50miles, i realised it's actually better that way as i can never hear or see the indicator light when driving at a decent pace, so I know just push the stalk and push again to cancel, same as riding a motorbike. The self cancel was always a little dodgy especially on the motorway with such a quick rack, it would often not cancel the indicator for miles.

Might be worth trying for a few weeks if it is a faff to find a replacement part. If not then i'm not sure where they were sourced from frown

Mine does not self cancel either, I presumed it was like this from factory. I can't remember who I heard it from but I seem to believe it's the same unit as used in a Cerb so may well be worth researching that.

My one is doing the same, want cancel but got even worse some times to push up, right indicator, gets stuck with the high beams I have order the switch indicator part from Tvr-parts. The only thing is that needs some manual work the one that they have it's in plastic, so I will need to cut and glue with the metal one. Since I have to remove the speedometer "changing to km/h" I will do in one go. Even replacing the lcd.. Some lines missing.

I will contact the original owner and ask if they ever worked, I bought the car in 2010 and have just put up with it for the last 6 years. Thanks for all the replies.
