Alarm

My friend as a tvr and is having difficulty with his alarm switching on and off with his key fob, it will only work by him being maximum 1 foot away from the car. Your advice and help is much appreciated thanks.

Have they tried the basic stuff ? Like replacing the fob battery?

Last time change it was approx 2 years ago but, he says the button on the fob is slightly depressed and,you can feel the ridge.

New batteries fixed it for me. Dave

Ok thanks, I'll tell him to change the battery. Can he do it himself or an expert has to do it for him.

Just take to a watch shop or similar that sells the batteries and they will change them free of charge its easier as it is fiddly
