Tuscan emergency boot release

Hi,

I'm currently unable to put petrol in the Tuscan as the boot release button seems to have packed in - I've been advised about alternative access by chas at str8six over the phone, but having got round to trying it this evening I can't actually make it work. Could a kindly soul please provide me some more details offline, to save me having to get a grownup to look at it...
