Black 'Spacer' at top of door shut?

Hi guys, I only seem to have this little black round spacer / rubber stopper on my passenger door, I assume it should be on both doors?

(Top left of this picture, in the door shut section, small black round dot):



Is it just a stick-on rubber dot? Like the rubber feet you get?

Any idea what the is part named?

Is it just adhesive on the rear?
