I have a Mk1 Tuscan S with a 4.3 upgrade and want to know if anyone uses these tyres and if they provide good grip in dry and wet please. I have R1Rs at present. Thanks.

I have just had a set of Toyo T1sport plus fitted to my tamora they are good in the dry giving good grip and road holding
I was limited to 40 mm as they didn't have the 35mm available at the time I needed to change so a little bit softer ride
No info as too wet road holding as I haven't been in the rain

Sorry for being a pedant, but I assume you're talking about the sidewall dimensions... They're not measured in mm, but as a percentage of the tyres width.

Eg, a 225/40 tyre would have a sidewall height of (225 X 0.4 =) 90mm

I have these tyres on my 4.3 Tamora and have driven in all weathers (usually heavy rain, every time I take it out, even if there's not a cloud in the sky when we set out...). and they have never been a problem. (although I have a Quaife diff fitted, too)

Thank you that is good to know, the reason I switched to R1Rs from the T1S of 5 years ago was due to lack of grip under hard acceleration, so that's helpful to know the new tyres can handle the additional power of the 4.3.
