Have tried a 'Search' but can't find any advice on the best way to 'mask' the headlamp beam. Obviously the lights are much smaller on a Tuscan than on 'normal' cars and I would appreciate any tips on the best way to shield the offending beam - have used the self adhesive opaque patches on previous cars. Thanks

Thanks very much for the link, will probably try the black insulating tape method or just not bother as that seems to be the 'favourite' position.

I don't have a TVR, but I haven't bothered with mine as they just don't dazzle other drivers over there.

They have gotta catch you to prosecute you... I've never bothered. Had loads of police attention over there and never a problem. The TVR lights aren't that bright any way so doubt you will dazzle. What you will notice in France is very few cars with headlights not working, unlike in the UK where misaligned and non working lights are common place and I think more of a hazard.

I didn't bother either for my trip to south of France and back through Monaco, Italy, Chamonix, Switzerland and Reims. Got lots of interest from plod, but admiring glances/staring/photographs mainly. Mind you, I think you're doing something wrong if you're driving at night time on holiday! 😉

I wouldn't use black insulating tape, tried it on the Tuscan once and it melted when I put the lights on and cracked one of the lenses. Wouldn't bother next time.
