Has anyone fitted a universal A/C kit to a Tuscan that had no A/C from the factory?

And yes I know I can take the roof off and open windows.

But seriously, has anyone done it? And sending the car to the factory if there was one still is not an option.

Know of a previous owner who retro fitted a S/H Tuscan AC system to his car. This obviousley was just fitting parts that were made for the model so not to complex, fitted in his drive way so not a majour task.

But as to fitting a universal system, good luck.

I think MPETT, on here, retro fitted a TVR system when he rebuilt his Tuscan.

I guess all the wiring will be in situ, but I'd expect to get all the hardware from one of the breakers here in the UK. Think you have to change the heater ecu as well.

I guess a generic system would 'bolt on' but you'd need a decent auto electrician to make the connections.

I had it done a couple of years ago at Hexham Horsless Carrages, cost about 2.5k I think. Well worth it as we use it a lot.

Would it need completely stripping out the heating/cooling pipes and putting green something else there?
I'm retrim ming soon so since everything is put I could do it at the same time.
