Coming home late last night in the Tuscan, went to turn sharp right and got a crunching noise, some immediate under steer but then it seemed to turn the corner.
By the time I got home the steering was very heavy and whilst I reversed into the garage I got a trail of hydraulic fluid from the drivers side
Does this sound like the Steering Rack or the Power Steering Pump?
Any advice on who and how best to get fixed would be appreciated

If it's the same rack as the Griff the drivers side seal is a weak point, the usual fix is to replace it with a Scooby rack. They can be rebuilt but the original is pants.

I would say that it is very difficult to say without taking a look as the power steering pump and the connections to the rack are both on the drivers side.
It is possible that it could be neither and that the high pressure hose from the pump to the rack has gone. This happened to me a little while ago which also leaves a trail from the same area.

Thanks for the advice - I will take a look underneath and see if that gives me any better idea
