Door actuator not popping. door ECU?

Hi Chaps,

My drivers door has stopped opening on the button. Window works fine up and down but the actuator doesnt get triggered.

Checked all the fuses i can see.

Also removed the actuator and plugged it into the other side and the actuator itself works fine.

Anyone know what volts i should be look for on the plug into the actuator to test if its getting signal?

And if not where that signal is controled from? The Door ECU?

There is a PCB wedged into this mechanism about 2" square. But only on the driver side. Is this the Door ecu people talk about/perhaps its been moved on mine and its wrapped in tape.

Any tips/ideas welcome.

Also. Does anyone have a picture/diagram of how the brass push rods connect? Ive put it back together but now the emergency release wont activate from the handle.

The bracket which holds the mechanism obscurs the view so cannot tell whats up.

This did indeed turn out to be the ecu. it just needed taking out and puting back in basically.

The locking not on the brass mechanism needs to be firmly done up or the emergency lever doesnt catch and slides of the lock. Done that up and it all works. great.
