Battery is now officially dead
Discussion
The battery that I thought was going to be OK has now died, the nice man from the AA checked it out.
What should I be replacing it with & where is the best place for my purchase?
He tried the one he had but it was too big & said I needed a "072".....that means absolutely nothing to me.
Thanks.

Echo Bas's thoughts above - great service and next day delivery if order placed before midday.

Just as an update to this, I replaced the battery.
The "072" which is the "official" correct size for all cars from 1998? I think, has now been replaced by the "031"
Why the fk do they do that.
The first battery the guy gave me, a "017" according to his list, didn't fit. I had to go back with the original battery to measure against.
Some places still have 072 available.
I am now at peace with the world
