Hi All

Was wondering if anyone new the range of some tuscans in the way of decibels?

I put mine in for a service and MOT last month and found out that not only had mine been decatted, the cans had also been sleeved (always thought it was a tad loud!!)

However now I'd like to take it to a track now but I think I'm going to be over the decibel limit.

I don't suppose someone has tested a decatted, sleeved tuscan at all?

Ta, Phil

At a guess somewhere north of 110dBs? possibly pushing over 120dB. Get a dB app for your smart phone (if you have one) it will give some random number associated with a VERY LOUD noise biggrin

Thats about right..

With sleeved cans and cats mine was 105 db.. could go round brands hatch

With the sleeved cans and decals its 121 db... so won't be going round any track.

That's a bit unfair... it must be a "pop" from the exhaust. There's no way you could be making a sustained 135db, it's well beyond the pain threshold.
