Insurance Valuation
Discussion
So it's that time of year again where I need to renew my insurance... just wonder what "market value" might be:
2001 Tuscan S
- 55k miles
- Power's 4.5 upgrade
- Nitrons
- Flip bonnet conversion
- Virtually immaculate paintwork (recent respray)
- showing signs of age/use elsewhere, so perhaps "good" rather than "showroom" in terms of interior condition etc
Anybody got any suggestions? No, it isn't for sale

Remember its a replacement valuation so what it would cost you to replace like for like and maybe at dealer premium.
mine is at £28.5k and is a 2002 3.6 Tuscan rebuilt this year at Powers
From my experience insurers will agree a valuation including a premium if you've had a respray and engine rebuild/mods etc. My mk2S 4.3 with full respray is agreed at £45k in March 2015 so i'll be renewing it somewhat higher this coming March. mine is at £28.5k and is a 2002 3.6 Tuscan rebuilt this year at Powers
