So it's that time of year again where I need to renew my insurance... just wonder what "market value" might be:

2001 Tuscan S
- 55k miles
- Power's 4.5 upgrade
- Nitrons
- Flip bonnet conversion
- Virtually immaculate paintwork (recent respray)
- showing signs of age/use elsewhere, so perhaps "good" rather than "showroom" in terms of interior condition etc

Anybody got any suggestions? No, it isn't for sale smile

Reckon you're in the right ball park.

Mine's a 2002 4L tuscan with dom's 4.5 and 46K on the clock. I've got it insured for 30K.

Remember its a replacement valuation so what it would cost you to replace like for like and maybe at dealer premium.

mine is at £28.5k and is a 2002 3.6 Tuscan rebuilt this year at Powers

yes From my experience insurers will agree a valuation including a premium if you've had a respray and engine rebuild/mods etc. My mk2S 4.3 with full respray is agreed at £45k in March 2015 so i'll be renewing it somewhat higher this coming March.
