No info sorry but it does look nice in that colour. Not sure how the insurance company come to own it and dispose of it without CAT status. Seems on the expensive side to me but I know nothing!! Suspension damage would worry me unless it has had an alignment check done.

£5k extra lower milage and FSH

Is it worth the risk?

Sold at auction 5th December for £12,050. Listed as Cat C. All on the HBC website, so I quote FYI

I can think of at least two reasons:

1) Google for reviews of the dealer (Motorhub in Keighley);

2) the autotrader ad for that car has been up since at least July 2015 - I know because that's when I started my search for a Tuscan. Not a very encouraging sign, particularly when you take into account the fact that TVRs like to be used and this one has presumably been sitting gathering dust for at least 18 months now...

went to view this one 9 months ago. Very tatty inside and out + dealer had little knowledge of the car + Point 1.

I responded in respect of the original post, so the Blue one.

Take a look on the auction web site or look back a page or so on here and you will find a post relating to it

Hmm...I see what you mean...very clearly CAT C on that web site, yet in the eBay ad it clearly states 'Unrecorded'......

It can take months for it to actually show on the register.

You could potentially HPI it now, come back clean, then HPI it in a few months, and find it has now been registered cat c.

I'm afraid in TVR land, generally you get what you pay for.
