Hello,

It seems to be evident that petrol when left for a period of time becomes less volatile and gummy. Some articles saying the change starts in as little as 4 week.

Anybody use a fuel stabilizer while there TVR is laid up? What is everyone's thoughts regarding tank full, tank empty over the dormant period?

Tank half full for lay up periods then fill up on the first run out. Been doing it this way for a number of years with no problems.

I lay it up with just a quarter tank, but yeah - same approach, fresh fill on first outing.

Only high quality fuel (goes without saying)

Out of interest does anyone put fuel injector cleaner in the tank, say once a year? Or does your dealer add it when it has it's yearly service?
