After installing a new speedo sensor the speedo was not working still. Who can repair this POD in the UK or can I search for a local specialist? I assume TVR were using standard electronic parts during 2001. Or is it tricky again?

What part isn't working? If it's the analogue speedo (needle) maybe something simple like the worm gear on the motor that is prone to slipping. Mat Smith sorted that, the LCD dash screen went of to Paul Smith electronics. He can be a difficult guy to get hold of though

First after installing the new sensor the speedo worked but strange (low readings) I bought the new Grey one from RG. After that I have to find out that the connection of the Grey speedo sensor is 100% different than the Blue one!! Red wire speed sensor is to the Green of the Harnass and the Green is going to the Grey of the Harnass. Now both the needle and the digital does not work anymore. Is there a fuse somewhere hidden? I think that the POD is blown up and not the Speedo sensor item.

I try to contact Kathy (still in the Business? or c.m. electricals but nothing unfortunately

Guys the wiring instructions from RG are wrong! I couldn't get my speedo to work and tried two sensors. I then swapped the two of three wired...not earth...wires around and bingo...all working. The wrong way gave weird readings. I will try find what I posted previously.

Paul Smith can likely help check/confirm if the pod is fine: http://pselectronicsolutions.co.uk/

TVR Parts (great service from Luke and Martin) send a new speed sensor under Guarantee!(Great service thanks!) With the right colours to the main Harnass it worked. No blown up POD or worse. Important is to follow the right colours (see now the revised website of TVR Parts) and put the flat parts of the sensor in the East/West direction. Took some time to find out but the problem is solved. Only small thing is that I have to make the holes somewhat larger to put the sensor 100% in line with the teeth of the Diff. (was first app. 20% offset)
