They have the T400R which is even quicker !!!!! So perhaps concentrating on using that now.. The Tuscan has has three very successful l seasons...
I presume it is a factory head and block... Re-engineered by Jason... Interesting that it's 4.7L... When I've seen pics of the 4.5L there didn't seem any cyclinder wall left to bore out to 4.7 ?? Is that how they've done that ??? Can't imagine they'd go to cost of yet another billet crank making the stroke even longer...

why is the T400R faster ? if its got the same ish speedsix block? if the Tusacn 4.7 is bigger how can a T400R be quicker?? by the way I know nothing about Engines at all
Tony...
AFAIK, both are 4.7 Speed6 Str8Six developments of the original engine desgine, and the Tuscan makes 485bhp, the T400R 507bhp, and more torque, and is probably slightly more aero.Tony...
Having followed the development of the Tuscan racer on Facebook, it must have cost about £100k !!!
Playing devils advocate and adding some realism to this, that's not really a future classic icon. It's a stripped out road car built for a largely domestic race series in a shed in Oxfordshire.
It's not a 911 gt3 rs that's run at lemans, it's not an f40, it's not been driven by a celebrity and isn't of any historical importance. Regardless of what their odd ball adverts say.
As much as I'd like Tuscans and tvr's in general to be appreciated and that reflected In the values, their simply not outside of the sagaris. The market is struggling with the "icon" or classic status of tuscans that's why the prices are all over the place.
Am I mad or is this the world without rose tinted specs.

Would make a great TD car assuming noise levels can be reached but £47k is a lot to spend on such a thing. What else is available at that price point??????
I agree with M4TTI, while successful in the series it has run they are 'National' level. Little pedigree when compared to international ones.
If you are going to compete in the listed series there are cheaper alternatives.

The car was never a road car, it was built as a racer, there is a huge difference. It has raced at Sebring and Spa.It's not a 911 gt3 rs that's run at lemans, it's not an f40, it's not been driven by a celebrity and isn't of any historical importance. Regardless of what their odd ball adverts say.

It's far from being an expensive race car, given what it would have cost to build and develop to what it is, and there are many series it can race in at home or abroad.
Is it iconic, maybe not but I think you're being very hard on an honest value for money race car, potentially from a position of not understanding race cars?
