After a complete rebuild of the engine my Tuscan MK2 schould get a new motormanagenment. But the guys who are carrying out this have a big problem with the dash display. As they told me the display just shows irrational display values. For example the watertemperature always shows 15°C whether with ore without a sensor connected. Before the engine came out everything was fine with the display. As a wiring diagram for the Tuscan MK2 is not to come by there was not a lot the guys in the workshop could check. So they assumed that the dash ecu is damaged. But after paying over 400 pounds for a used reviewed dash ecu the Problems exists further on. So the next try would be a new display. But before throwing the next 200 pounds out of the window i would like to ask if there is anyone out there who has an idea what could be the cause for the problem. It also would help a lot if someone knows how to get a wiring diagram for the Tuscan MK2 early Model 2005 ore at least could tell us the pin allocation of the dash ecu and the engine ecu.
Hope soembody can help because I'm almost two years Tuscanfree now and already have bad withdrawl symptoms.

I have this but it doesn't help, as the Sagaris has a different dash. Furthermore there are no wiring diagrams in there.

Ask Paul Smith about it.

The connections to the back of the actual display module/circuit board are notoriously bad. Is it simply that the values shown are incorrect, or that the display itself is failing (missing lcd lines, characters only half visible etc).

As a last resort if you're totally stuck then i'd be happy to test your dash pod on my late 2004 mk2 and see if i get the same issues, at least that would help identify whether it's a dash display issue, or if it's the ecu.

I don't believe there's a pin diagram anywhere, but i'd try the main service agents like str8six as they may know of one.

Good luck!

Thanks for youre offer Dave. May be I'm comming back to that later. At the Moment I wait for some news from the guys at the workshop. They wanted to check something else first.
The one who should know the pin asignment of the dash ecu is Paul Smith from PS Electronic Soulutions, as Wolfgang mentioned before. I already contacted Paul but he can not supply the Informations because he has signed an NDA when he parted company with TVR.
Hope I get some positive message from the workshop the next days.
By the way nice bike you have there.
