The Gates of Hell have opened!
Discussion
Got mine on Friday, managed to slip the carbon cans off and replace them with my new stainless steel CCC cans on Saturday.
How best to describe the sound. Mmmm. Very Loud. At small revs it has that hollow exhaust pipe sound you get from tuned big V8 muscle cars. At full bore acceleration it roars like a racecar. And on the overrun it pops and bangs like mortar bombs are being dropped out the back. Oh, and it's very loud!
Cheers,
Andy.

Any chance of any more vids/sound tracks at all?
Fantastic sounds.
(Although there are a couple of very nice clips on the TVRCC Bristol region's site (www.tvrcc-bristol.co.uk) of a 450 SEAC that has an exhaust note to die for!)

Thank's Luca.
ByronTVR the camera mount is a suction job on the window screen see www.fotango.com/p/eba00198943f00000012.jpg
It was from www.b-hague.co.uk/Mounting%20Brackets.htm
Seems a good bit of kit stayed in place even over some quiet bumpy roads

Nick your Tuscan is alost exactly the same as mine bar the door and headlining! - first time i noticed
On the camera mounting front - insider industry tip!:
It's worth applying a second clamp or ratchet strap to the arse end of the camera (I even clamp the body of the camera with a second clamp on an Arri magic arm) this takes out any vibration that is inherent when you attach a camera to one of these suction mounts. The whole rig gets a bit ugly looking and cumbersome but provides rock steady pictures
Also please don't clamp a suction mount onto the outside glass or bodywork WITHOUT secondary support as outlined above, these suction mounts are notorious for failure - the camera leaves the vehicle and scatches its revenge all along the paintwork!!
Another (cheaper) site for the camera grip products Arri Magic Arm, Arri Suction mount, Arri Superclamp can be found here

Nick am I seriously going to drive me motor round with a set of stainless steel Carbon Cans popping and cracking! (this is more of a reassurance plea!)
Isn't it more of a Max Power thing - teetering on the edge here

well i didn't want it to sound or look like the white astra that bombs up and down outside our place with a couple of galvanised dustbins strapped on the arse end with some sticky back plastic!! I think they have Max Power on the sunstrip - ought to know it takes it that long to pass the house, but the noise!, you have to criss-cross your windows with masking tape Blitz style!
Max Power!
(they always get over excited when I pull out - can't think why)

Jamesk said: Great vid Nick. Car sounds superb! Is that a standard exhaust? Also, where was the microphone mounted for that, was it at front of car on camera?
It has the Carbon Can Co exhaust on see www.fotango.com/p/eba00198943f00000009.jpg for a close up.
The microphone is just the one on the camera www.fotango.com/p/eba00198943f00000012.jpg
