To my knowledge, three LHD Tuscans have now been made and delivered to customers in Germany. The price is £33914.90 plus tax plus options for the Tuscan and £41531.92 plus tax plus options for the Tuscan S. There are currently no plans to build the Tamora LHD, but as it shares the same chassis as the Tuscan, it (sh)could happen in the future. Regards James@TVR-MADS.co.uk

Except for Germany I have seen the one (so far) for Holland and there is supposed to be one for Italy. Nimag near Rotterdam is not too far away from Belgium.

Could we have one of the intrepid writers do a review of a LHD Tuscan in its element in Germany?
Curious to see if there were any conversion issues...

So now that we have LHD, Tuscans what else needs to be done to make the Tuscan USA compliant?

Find someone mug enough to file a couple of million dollars with the US government to cover any legal claims I guess - isnt that why TVR pulled out of the states all those years ago?

I think the lawsuit stuff is legend, not fact.

The lawyers are pain in the arse all the same...

What needs to happen? Just for TVR to see the need to spend $30million+ to get the cars certified (after adding ugly bumpers and airbags - the car won't pass without them) and establish dealerships, train service techs and all to sell a few hundred more cars a year.

Do you really think Morgan spent $30 million to sell (maybe) 150 cars per year?

A bit different with Morgan as they have been importing them for years, and so as the llaws developed the cars were modified - i.e. they were desigend to pass the stuff at build time, TVR havent done this, they just made their cars compliant for the markets they sold them in

The first German car is already sitting there waiting for registration. If TVR gets the paperwork in shape it could be on the road within a week or two.

Mine will be there in 2 weeks. Registered on a british
number plate, and after a couple of months I can get it
on a belgian numberplate as an "import".
This is the only possible way to get it registered in Europe at the moment. At least as long as TVR doesn't finalise the EU4 homologation.
Anyway it seems to become a quite exclusive beast on European roads...
