Mine does the brake light warning scam too, I've found,if I push it over to the passenger side, it goes down an extra click, the light then goes out. Probably just the micro switch needs adjusting.
As for reverse, 5th gear first does it for me. Maybe you need the linkage adjusted on that too.
Drive it like you stole it......magic

My reverse gear is behaving perfectly today, hah! I also checked the brake/clutch fluid, and it was up to the top, in fact some spilled out when I took the lid off. So I'm comfortable now that the warning light is just a dodgy sensor, as suspected.
However, first drive in the rain today, and I get a wet leg! No, I wasn't over excited, the rain came in through the front top corner of the window. The roof seal seems to have a gap in it, I think maybe if I remove the roof and make sure it's as snug as possible in that corner that should sort it - but any other suggestions welcome.

Remove the roof? In this weather! It may not fit back on!
Glad to see the tradition of "damp footwells" is alive and kicking. Keep the faith and we're all looking forward to seeing the car at VW next weekend!

Not sure about VW - but I'm sure we are due a Surrey Run again soon (Luca, Neal?) Not sure where you are located . .
I would love a Tuscan this year - but just bought a chapel! Happy to run the Chimaera for ANOTHER summer whilst it's looking and sounding good!

We saw 3 TVR's on that journey - 2 on Hangar Lane and 1 on the Westway heading east. I flashed my lights at the first bloke but he didn't see me in time I don't think, and I think I was too late to flash (ooer) at the second. The 3rd one was on the A40 filter lane - was that you? Did you shout "Lucky!" at me? (or was it something else?!)
