Are there any Tuscan owners who have had the cats removed and if so how. What is this chip people talk about? And last but not least what do TVR do different on the 4.0 &4.0s to gain the extra 40bhp.

Different cams, stronger steel crank, different mapping. And it's 20 to 30, not 40bhp.

I removed mine got a giggle.

Pulls a lot smoother now, and doesn't half make a racket on overrun.

I've not looked into getting the fueling remapped/rechipped yet, but thinking about it.

All depends if I sell.

Is it rude to ask how much it was and if it is easily reversable? Am thinking along the lines that it will be too loud for track days and so will need swapping back

I honestly can't remember...

More then £100 and less than £200. Looked easy to retrofit. Ramp, unscrew scratch plate, screw, hammer, hammer, job done!

(I think it will be too loud for track days)
