On the setup screen, you know you can change the mode between fast and slow, well what does it do ?

Good question! I thought it might be the update speed of the revometer but nooo..

Maybe it custs off two cylinders for economy runs?

I think it refers to how often the display is updated with fast meaning it is updated more often and slow meaning it is updated less often. I think the idea is that you can get a more instantaneous reading with fast but if you want to let it settle a bit then you can set it to slow...

I am sure that is what I was told when I was in the factory last week but I was too busy playing with another pod at the time!

O/T: Should be getting my Tuscan on Thursday, can't wait! It was delivered from the factory to Kerridges last Thursday and I am just waiting for them to apply the Waxoyl and SuperGuard then it's mine! Looks stunning, Moonraker black with Portland grey interior, will add some pictures when I get it!

Fish, just to confirm, is that 'correct' as in the update speed of the display ie the tacho readout and the digi speedo and the diags etc ?

thanks

Hi Peter - I took a trip over to Kerridges from NI last Tuesday (4th) to test drive a couple of Tuscans. I saw what I assume to be your brand spanking new black one there at the time. Looked rather nice indeed! I ended up putting a deposit on a GTS Blue demo one they had. Hope to pick it up next week - trading in my Escort Cossie for it. The shaking & rattling from cold start up was a little disturbing, but the road test certainly helped convince me (sorry Stephen for that little twitch we had in the wet in the first one - I'm a little too used to 4wd I think ).

Hi Gary,
Yes that was my car! Picked it up this Saturday 8th March and it is amazing! I am just uploading some pictures of the car as we speak! I know what you mean about the rattling, still a bit weary of it but once it has warmed up it sounds great!

I will be starting a thread soon with pictures of my car! Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the club, may you have many happy times with your car!

Maybe see you around?!

Sorry Tuscan S but I think I answered the question a few messages back. I guess this thread could be closed now?

Plus, you could read it as:

Escort Cossie = Slow
TVR Tuscan = Fast

Just a theory?

In fairness the Escort has an alledged 305bhp but it is of course a much heavier car. It was/still is an impressively fast car with exceptional & safe handling. I just hope I am up to handling the Tuscan.
