I've seen this mentioned in a few adverts.
What are they, any pics, where from, and £?

Instead of having the back of the seat coulor coded to match the rest of the seat they are silver, they are normally speced on order, but I suppose if you send your seat to the factory they could replace them, have seen a couple & they look quiet nice, but sorry no photos.

Silver seat backs for the Tuscan were on the initial demonstrator cars, they were found to scratch very easily and the factory then preferred for the backs to be covered as in the same material as the rest of the car.

I have to say in the right seating combination the silver backed ones look fantastic. They are very easy to fit and remove, remove some bolts - hard grip and pull if I remember rightly! Lots of glue to put them back.

Anyway don't know of any pictures of them - I am sure someone has them.

Cheers,
The backs of mine have allen bolts at the bottom, maybe they just bolt on?
I must investigate further

Saw some blue one's on a Tamora at the factory last weekend - STUNNING! (Not a good place for handbag storage, would scratch, boo!) But, wow, they did make the car look something else. Nice....shame I didn't take a pic!

Was it this one

They are quiet nice, much better than the standard black.

Yes that was the one! Excuse me, but us girls must have the handbag in the 'cabin'! It's the rules! We have to store the matching nail varnish, the matching mobile and lippy of course! Hooks nicely over the gearstick for stability!! (Only joking!) AND, bonus, the Tuscan badge won't fall off every 10 mins in hot weather on the painted seat backs.

Not the best pictures of silver seat backs, but you get the idea!

And I haven't had any issues with scratching on them.

As for removing them, there is an allen screw behind the Tuscan badge as well as those at the bottom

Nice Graham,
Were they factory fitted?. Can you buy them anywhere else?

They were a factory, no cost, option at build time.

The car is in Chrysler Inferno Red pearlescent (as used on the PT Cruiser) with grey carpets, portland grey with scarlet stitching and seat cushions

Have a look at www.gameplan2000.co.uk for some more pics
