T440R Schedule...

I spoke to Danielle today about the T440R customer cars and learnt that two customer cars are being built at the moment but they are only making 1 car a month!

There are about 35 customer cars on order as of now. I hope to make it 36 soon! I know a lot of people are ordering uprated T350Cs with big power hikes and Tuscan S brakes but the thought of a 215mph 4 seater gets me going!

Also, a few mag reviews should be apppearing in about 2 months time

Only 1 a month! Is that going to be the norm? Put my name down at last year's Motorshow so I guess around 25-30 on the list then. I can't wait two years! I was told by my local dealer if you are prepared to pay the full deposit, they'll be able to move you towards the front of the queue - will have to investigate.

says TVR were penalised on weight + restrictors because they hadn't built 25 yet. Are the Le Mans rules the same ? If so, I suspect you'll see your cars before June!

I paid my full deposit before the motorshow, was told the plan was to build 2 each month. I know they are built by the motorsport division, so given the panic and pressure there to get all the various race preparation done for the T440, the gt and tuscan series etc, then they are probably on the back burner a bit with customer t440r?

Sounds a bit right and they did say that they can tweak the production line to get one within a year...

After all this lovely sunshine, not sure if I can live without a removable roof...
