Yup, caught!! Can't get away with anything nowadays!
That was us - me and S1NRR (Danny), we had just come back from seeing Danny's girl of an Helo flying lesson at Staverton Airfield
Found the Golden Heart at Nettleton closed and then pulled out of the pub almost together into the fast traffic!! (there was a mix up, I thought Danny was going to wait for a better slot and I didn't pull out that quick because I was worried about pebbledashing his very new Black Tusk S, but oh no out he came and was nearly totalled by a truck!! whoops, lessons to be learned! Drive for yourself when in convoy not as a group)
But really great run out together even though we were restricted to 4k revs due to his run in. As you said the sun was shinning big time and I think the sight of the two Tusks together made people steer all over the place! We had taken piccies of the cars together at the viewpoint at Birdlip and then later,we went on down to the Wild Duck at Ewen for a pint.
After that have vowed to make another run out with the local c3c TVRCC as soon as possible! - which will include martvr in his Noble

Hey Mycerbera - Where abouts in the Forest are you? I've not seen you about. Now the Stupid question - you in a Cerb? I'm on the Chepstow - Coleford road just out of the Forest and have recently traded in a Blue Chimp 500 for a Silver Y plate Tusc which is sadly receiving attention in Blackpool (again). Should be back in a few weeks tho...????
Agree completely with the comment on the roads down this way. Absolutely fantastic esp down the side of the Wye to Momouth and thro to Abergavenny / Brecon... I beleive the C3CTVRCC lot are planning a sortie this way soon? Maybe with local knowledge you should lead the way??
