Sorry, but why should the seals in the fuel pump of a '99 car be older - certainly not because the engine design can be traced back to the 50's? Rich...

No reason. That wasn't quite what I meant. There is a perception that Optimax is fine for any car with hardened valve seats. It may not be healthy in any Rover V8 from the point of view of valve recession (see above) but, of course, the development TVR have done on the heads may protect them from damage (but the development Rover did doesn't seem to have done) but in older cars ie. pre-unleaded, there is a very strong possibility of damage to seals etc-stronger than with normal unleaded-owing to the high detergent content.
Based on my experience I would avoid using it on any engine design not originated since the advent of unleaded or having Optimax expressely recommended for it by the manufacturer.

MMMMM.

Will it be ok in My SUZUKI GSXR-750 it was recogmended to me as especialy good for motorbikes.

now worried as to what damage its doing at 12,000 revs
