I hear S02's are not too easy to get hold of.
Having just had a set fitted, I thought I'd share the info
Company called M&J tyres in Twickenham number is 02082969136, ask for Gavin.

Got the this beauty last week

Enjoyed weekend with my new toy - managed to rack up 1000miles on a trip to Sheffield & Essex.
What a car - it doesn't get much better than this.

No - never had a TVR before, she's a dream to drive, I'm a totally converted Lotus driver, albeit a stack more respect for this beast is warranted.

It's nearly bitten me once, back end seemed quite eager to swop places with the stern.
Was not expecting so much attention either (love watching those passenger windows roll down when you burble up to traffic lights) - mind you it's my own fault for choosing that colour!

Haven't been this chuffed since I got scalextrix when I was eight.

Really looking forward to Bruntingthorpe - do you need any type of deposit?

Phone Marie at TMS, she's in charge I think.

If the last one was anything to go by, I'd deposit about 4 miles of masking tape on the front of your car too - everyone got pebbledashed. You might look a bit daft with your car bandaged up but the paint on some of them was bad enough to make you want to cry by the end of the day.

Interesting little know fact about your car (I believe anyway).

I had one exactly the same as yours and a mate of mine then promptly went and copied the exact same spec (your car I believe). He's now got an Tuscan S in silver/pink (won't mention his name as he's a shy retiring psycho type).

BTW Anyone know who bought the shocking Lambo Viola Tuscan for sale on Pistonheads recently? (whoever originally specced that car must have been the mother of all posseurs)

Veeeery nice.

It says in the sales patter ( www.pistonheads.com/ads/detail.asp?i=7107&sc=PSJ1&s=2 ) that it has bespoke leather sun visors. There were some folks on about that in here the other day. How do they look then?

Jez, what version of the SO2s were they? They made a few versions and are insistent that they are not mixed, even if they are all SO2s.

Mike E - Impeccable taste sir! - just noticed his original plate on the beast, worth a few bob. Silver / pink, must admit haven't seen that mix.

Gary F - I noticed the interest in them - I have to be honest and say I'd agree with Brandon (previous owner) and would rather have the extra inch or so in visibility, they just seem to get in the way

I suppose driving into a blinding sunset they would come in to there own, but generally a decent pair of shades would suffice - if I didn't end up with dodgy screw holes in the frame I'd say have mine!

I'll try and post a pic tomorrow

Damon - Just checked them - they are 225/35 ZR 18 on the front and 255/35 ZR 18 on the back - with the name Potenza on both. - Hope this helps.

Jez, Sorry I didn't m,ake myself clear. There are different versions of the tyre (tread patterns slightly different) and they are denoted by GS-02 or GS-03 etc.

I had a mail in the wall of my n/s rear and so had to get a new onw. All of mine were GS-02s but the latest one was GS-03. Everybody to9ld me that they shouldn't be mixed. Took me a day to find one!
