missing

has anyone experienced a missfire when giving it some in second and third, almost as if fuel cut off is coming in early, only about 6000 revs though.

Spooky time again--------happened to me last night coming home from the track night!! Accelerating in third to around 5000+, then felt like it lost ignition for a second, then was ok!
I think these cars log on to this site!!

Guys,

Do a search on “dethrottled” in the TVR forums over All Dates. This should bring up 2 threads about this problem. Some people have cured it by fitting a “dethrottled chip” in the ECU.

I had it on my car and the dealer cured it by adjusting the throttle pots with no need to change the chip.
