2 year Service - Help - Wot do they do?

My Tusc is due for it's 2 year service and tappet adjust (so i'm told) and this is approx £1000 (so I'm told). HOWEVER - Just had follower / Camshaft rebuild and am also due to have the 1000 mile service and tappet adjustment). So....Questions .(starting with the silly one)
1). On the 2 year service, will I need the tappet bit done again? (I suspect not).
2). Is there anything done to the engine on the 2 year service that is not done either at rebuild (3 weeks ago or during 1000 mile service due now)?
3). If not what exactly does the 2 year service do. (Does anyone have a TVR suggested 'task' sheet of service checks to be carried out?)
4). Has anybody else had this service 'coincidence and is there a real case for a cheaper 2 year service, as any saving means more optimax!
Please let me know as I need 'both' services done in the next week or so?

My rebuild happened just before the 12k service at 11k miles. The engine got rebuilt and I ran the engine in and then had the free 1k service and 12k service done at the same time.

Obviously the 1k part of the service was free, but somehow it still came to just over £1000 for the rest of it. That didn't include tappet adjustment either.

Just had my 12k service completed, although i've only done 6k, I wouldn't imagine you would have to have the tappets done, but the garage would be best to advise. I do have a TVR task sheet for the items covered at the various intervals, but only in hard copy, so can't email it, but could stick one in the post. Didn't think you had to use optimax. For your info, my 12k service cost £1,050, and had no major problems, just rear break pads, and I supplied my own oil !!.

Today I was offered the 12k (2 year service) for £540, they took off £400 for tappets and oil / filter - as this was to be done under the 1k free service which would be carried out at the same time. Dealer price normally £940 Inc Tappet Adjust. So from what you are saying this sound somewhere between fair and very good.
If only my dealer 'sounded' like they knew what they were doing....!!!!! The technician / engineer / mechanic (whatever they are titled these days) seems good, it's just the service desk jockey guys who don't fill me with confidence (although it may just be me being paranoid).!!!

Mr T. - I would love to get my hands on a copy of that task sheet, as I get nothing from the dealer (or from Blackpool after rebuild). Could you send me a copy please? Snail mail or fax would be great? Please let me know if this is possible, and i will mail you directly either fax number or address?
